Drop Locks Quickstep

Notes
The Drop Locks are a variation of the Double Lock Step, which is in turn a play on the standard Quickstep Forward Lock. The Drop Locks were listed in the
Named Variations (Gold) of Alex Moore's Revised Technique up until the 8th
Edition of 1976. The Drop Locks is one of ten figures to have been removed from ISTD syllabus. 

The Drop Locks are an example of the extremely rare (SQSQ) timing pattern.
They also feature a lowering or "dropping" action similar in philosophy to that of the Foxtrot Bounce Fallaway. It consists of the following:

1-4 Forward Lock (SQSQ) followed by 3-4 Forward Lock (QQ).

The Drop Locks do not follow the Forward Lock rise and fall:
