Tipsy to Right

The Tipsy to Right is a natural turning Rapid Chassé action, used either to quickly link to 2-4 Forward Lock or 2-4 Tipple Chassé to Left; or in sequence with the Tipsy to Left.

History of the Tipple Chassé
The unlike the Tipsy to Left, the development of the Tipsy to Right is very straight forward. Under the name Tipsy, the Tipsy to Right has been a staple of the Revised Technique from about the 4th Edition onwards. At some point between the 8th Edition and the (current) 10th Edition of the Ballroom Technique, the Tipsy was renamed and expanded to include both the Tipsy to Right and Tipsy to Left.

Bridge Step into Tipsy to Right
In both the Ballroom Technique and Quickstep and Basic Principles, the
Tipsy to Right is written as beginning with the Man's RF to Side (Lady's 
LF Side).

However, figures such as the Back Lock, Progressive Chassé to Right, the Cross Swivel, or the Hover Corté require a backwards Bridge Step in order to connect to the Tipsy to Right.

In order to simplify choreographing, we have made a separate Domino for the Bridge Step into Tipsy to Right.

Shape
Both Technique books also indicate multiple possibilities on how to shape the Tipsy to Left:
-(Man) Straight, Straight, Right Side Up (ISTD)(IDTA)
-(Man) Straight, Straight, Right Side Down (IDTA)
-(Man) Straight, Right Side Down, Right Side Down (ISTD)

Reverse Turning Tipsy to Right
The Ballroom Technique states that after a Double Reverse Spin or a 
Reverse Pivot, a Bridge Step may be taken into a Tipsy to Right. This is then rotated up to 3/8 to Left. Follow with 2-4 Forward Lock or Tipsy to Left in the opposite direction.
