The Tipple Chassé to Left is a natural turning Chassé action that combines the steps of the Quarter Turn to Right and the rotation of 
1-3 Natural Turn, with the characteristic shaping of the Tipsy to Left.
It is only featured Quickstep and Basic Principles and the IDTA syllabus.

History of the Tipple Chassé
The development of the Tipple Chassé is somewhat nebulous. The 
Tipple Chassé to Right appears out of the blue in the 8th Edition of the 
Revised Technique, without any mention in Alex Moore's Popular Variations or any similar volume to foreshadow its mounting popularity. To our knowledge, the Tipple Chassé to Left has only ever been catalogued in
Quickstep and Basic Principles.

Tipple Chassé to Left from PP
The Tipple Chassé to Left may commence in Promenade Position. Step 1 
would then be taken Man's RF/Lady's LF fwd in CBMP and PP. This variation is only available to syllabus IDTA and Open level competitors.

2-4 Tipple Chassé to Left
Several figures, most notably the Tipple Chassé to Right and the 
Tipsy to Right, already include the first step of the Tipple Chassé to Left. In this case, it will begin with the Man's LF Side (Lady's RF Side).
