Timing
There are several different timings for the Fallaway Reverse and Slip Pivot.
The following are outlined in both The Foxtrot and Basic Principles and the Ballroom Technique :
(SQQS), (SQQ&), (SQ&Q), (S&QQ) and (QQQQ)
Open Timing
Several sequences in Alex Moore's Popular Variations (#47, #48, #49, #50 and #64) use a
Fallaway Reverse and Slip Pivot with a (SQQQ) timing. To compensate for the odd number of beats, the first (S) of the subsequent figure is converted to a (Q) thus:
Fallaway Reverse and Slip Pivot (SQQQ) into Double Reverse Spin (QQ&Q)
This combination is only available to non-syllabus competitors.
