In the ISTD syllabus, the Back Feather is listed in conjunction with the
Curved Feather. However, only in the ISTD syllabus are these two figures inseparable; in both the IDTA and the DTB step lists, the Back Feather is listed as an independent figure.
The Back Feather is prominently featured in the Extended Reverse Wave, where it may follow any Back Three Step.
