The Chase is not listed in our 1955 or 1966 editions of The Revised Technique by Alex Moore. However, it is prominently featured in his Popular Variations:
It is outlined in Tango Variation #35, and is featured in amalgamations #16,
#34, #36, #37 and #38. We surmise that the popularity of the Chase won it a place in the Ballroom Technique.
