The Back Lock is listed as Bronze in the ISTD and Silver in the IDTA syllabus.
In our old editions of The Revised Technique by Alex Moore, the Back Lock is listed in the Members' Syllabus (Silver), and was written to follow the
Drag Hesitation (though other entry figures are mentioned). We suspect that the introduction of the Progressive Chassé to Right into the Waltz helped make the Back Lock a Bronze figure in the estimation of Alex Moore.
