Commentary
We would like to point out the use of phrasing in this video.
Every figure is aligned to the 8-Bar phrases in the music.
Thus each musical segment is filled in one of two ways:
1)Seven measures of turns followed by a change of direction;
2)Two times: Three measures of turns followed by a change of direction.
In the Viennese Waltz, musicality is difficult to express through choreography. Phrasing is a good way to satisfy this criterion.
We would like to point out the use of phrasing in this video.
